Does it still do it since you updated to the 5/25/12 update? We have been unable to duplicate.

Ok, so you are having that problem on multiple forms then? This was originally about the Packing Slip and you sent an attachment of the Acknowledgement. Does it also do it on the invoice?

Interesting. We are not currently printing any notes on Invoices for a different reason, so I just tried one and the line notes are printing just one time. I assumed it was the same for all since they were doing it on both Ack and PL...

Just noticed that the SO Line notes print on Ack & PL (and PT) even when "Print Notes" is set to No.

I think this is related to the issue where multiple instances of the same note Type is being saved. It seems that once you make a selection of note Types and try to Save it, it ADDS your current selection to whatever was last saved. If you look at the latest attachment you will see that SO Line type notes STD are listed a total of 7 times, on TWO lines (that's a new development) and that is how many times they are currently printing - 14.

This seems to be a per-machine setting, as other users, who have not been playing with the settings and don't have multiple instances shown do not have the same problem. Can I delete, reset or initialize some file on my machine to start over so that I can use this feature now rather than having to wait until the problem is fixed?

Oh, and the second instance of "SO Lines" has gone away and I "only" get the notes repeated 7 times now (well, 1 original plus 6 repeats for a total of 7).

So, per Lynn I found that the note printing is controlled by the EvoSettings.ini file, and I've been able to sorta "fix" this problem that way.

However, now that I've got the multiple entries to the note types in the ini file gone, the only way I can get it to only print one time is to "Print Notes". That may sound odd, as that's the whole point of having line notes(?) But we don't always want to print notes. But if you DON'T check off "Print Notes" we get the SO Line Notes multiple times (no other notes print - just the SO Line Notes); I haven't nailed down a consistency, but sometimes 2 times, 3 times, up to 5 times.
